What Adtangle is
Adtangle is a growth agent for brands. You connect the accounts your brand already uses (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Shopify and others). The agent reads their data, proposes specific changes, and applies the ones you approve. Nothing changes in your accounts without your approval unless you turn on automatic application for a specific kind of change.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address and name from sign-in, and the brands (workspaces) you create.
- Connected-service data: performance metrics (clicks, impressions, sessions, conversions, spend, revenue), the names and identifiers of pages, campaigns, ad groups, keywords and ads, and the content of pages and ads needed to propose and apply changes.
- Your instructions: preferences, rules and notes you give the agent, and your decisions on its proposals.
- Usage logs: what the agent proposed, what you approved, what was applied and what it measured.
How we use it
- To show you your brand’s performance and to propose, apply and measure growth changes you approve.
- To build and maintain your brand’s private “Brand Brain†(voice, facts, rules, playbooks), which only your workspace’s agent reads.
- To generate drafts and recommendations with AI models. Only the data needed for the task is sent to the model provider, under terms that do not allow it to train on your data.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or to build profiles of people.
Google user data
Adtangle’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only to provide and improve the features you see in Adtangle: reading Analytics, Search Console and Google Ads data to find opportunities, and making the changes in Google Ads that you approve. It is not transferred to third parties except as needed to provide those features, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to you. Humans do not read your Google data except with your permission for support, for security, or where required by law.
Where your data lives and who can see it
Data is stored in a managed Postgres database (Supabase) and processed by our application and background workers. OAuth tokens for connected services are held by Nango, an authentication provider; we never store your passwords. Access is restricted to the members of your workspace. Our staff access production data only to fix a problem you report or to keep the service secure.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your data while your workspace exists. Disconnecting a service stops new data from being read and revokes the stored token; you can also revoke access at any time from your Google, Meta or Shopify account settings. Deleting a workspace, or emailing us, deletes its data within 30 days except for records we must keep for legal or billing reasons.
Your rights
You can see, export, correct or delete your data at any time. Write to us and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
